Coronavirus had its way with high school football this week as IU football commit Aaron Steinfeldt and the Bloomington North football team were forced to forfeit their game against New Albany with a positive COVID-19 test. Four of the five Indiana football 2021 commits who suited up this weekend helped their team to win, while two had a bye week. Here is how the future Hoosiers performed in week six of high school football’s return.
3-star recruit from Fort Wayne, Indiana. 6’4”, 300 lb Offensive Guard. National Player Rank: 1100th. Position Rank: 53rd. State Rank: 18th.
Recovered a fumble and ran it 76 yards into the end zone for his second big man touchdown of the season, and helped Bishop Dwenger’s offense to a 38-12 home conference victory over Concordia on Friday night.
Fiacable on his 76-yard TD: “It was an awesome feeling. I worked on my speed hard this off season so that training really showed in that play.”
3-star recruit from Brownsburg, Indiana. 6’6”, 285 lb Offensive Tackle. National Player Rank: 603rd. Position Rank: 48th. State Rank: 10th.
Sales played well despite Brownsburg’s 43-42 heartbreaking overtime loss to Westfield at home.
4-star recruit from Indianapolis, Indiana. 6’5”, 195 lb Quarterback. National Player Rank: 320th. Position Rank: 12th. State Rank: 3rd.
McCulley led Lawrence North offense to score 3 touchdowns in their huge 27-24 away victory over Ben Davis for the first time since 2008. LN had previously lost the 11 consecutive matchups with BD by an average of 47 points.
3-star recruit from Jacksonville, Florida. 5’10”, 170 lb Safety. National Player Rank: 588th. Position Rank: 44th. State Rank: 87th.
Held back University Christian offense to lead Oakleaf to a 45-28 win at home Friday night.
4-star recruit from Atlanta, Georgia. 6’1”, 190 lb Wide Receiver. National Player Rank: 173rd. Position Rank: 31st. State Rank: 17th.
Helped Westlake to 21-7 non-conference win over Johns Creek at home.

3-star recruit from Bloomington, Indiana. 6’5”, 230 lb Tight End. National Player Rank: 736th. Position Rank: 36th. State Rank: 13th.
Bloomington North was forced to forfeit their matchup with New Albany due to a player testing positive for COVID-19. The status of BN’s 10/2 matchup at Roncalli is undetermined.
3-star recruit from Valparaiso, Indiana. 6’6”, 245 lb Defensive End. National Player Rank: 427th. Position Rank: 29th. State Rank: 4th.
Valparaiso’s next matchup is 10/9 at home vs. Portage.
3-star recruit from Cedar Hill, Texas. 6’1”, 182 lbs Wide Receiver. National Player Rank: 802nd. Position Rank: 116th. State Rank: 112th.
Trinity Christian plays a non-conference home game vs. Bishop Sycamore next Friday, 10/2.
3-star recruit from Ellenwood, Georgia. 6’0”, 185 lb Safety. National Player Rank: 1149th. Position Rank: 79th. State Rank: 105th.
Cedar Grove kicks off the 2020 season at Milton on Friday, 10/2.

Michigan reinstated high school football on Thursday, allowing first games to be played 9/17. Avonsdale’s first game is 10/2 at Athens.
