While there is still a lot of uncertainty surrounding college football the recruiting for the future continues. On Thursday night the Hoosiers gained their 11th commitment of the 2021 class in Jordan Grier, a safety out of Ellenwood, Georgia. Grier is rated a three-star prospect by Rivals.com and has not yet received a ranking from 247Sports. Grier held 23 offers and chose the Hoosiers over Power Five foes Kansas, Kansas State and Pittsburgh. Safeties coach Jason Jones was the primary recruiter.

Grier can play all over the secondary, a trait that any coach would love to have in the secondary. Grier is listed a 6’ and 185 pounds. He had a solid junior season at Ceder Grove High School as he put up 56 tackles for a team that went 13-2. He has great ball skills as he also had four interceptions which he returned for touchdowns. He also returned kicks and is probably the best athlete on the field.
