The Indiana Hoosiers signed a class of 14 players during the 2020 Early Signing Period. The class includes 13 high school prospect and one graduate transfer.

"We are really excited about this signing class," Indiana head coach Tom Allen said on Wednesday. "Even though it is not a large group in numbers, we are bringing in high quality football players, high quality individuals and high quality student-athletes that really fit with the culture that we have created here at IU. We have a broad representation across multiple positions, especially on offense, which is very important to have at each position. Five of these young men will arrive in January and we look forward to getting all of them here in Bloomington.”

The Hoosiers class of 2021 is a small one, but it does pack a punch as it is the highest class by average rating that the Hoosiers have signed. The five signees who will enroll early are punter James Evans, offensive lineman Vinny Fiacable, Matthews, offensive lineman Joshua Sales Jr. and wide receiver Jordyn Williams.

While the Hoosiers class comes in at 12th in the Big Ten in 247Sports Composite Rankings, if you take their average player rating, the Hoosiers rank eight in the conference with an average rating of 86.49.

Allen was especially proud to get five of the top 11 prospects from the state of Indiana. "It is tremendous to see so many of the top kids in the state of Indiana choose to help us continue our upward trajectory," Allen said. "To see the top kids in our state band together as a group and decide to come represent this great university is truly special."
