HUDL Highlights

Williams had 17 offers coming out of high school. It was an offer list that included Alabama, Costal Carolina, Colorado State, Florida A&M, Kansas, Louisville, Maryland, Mississippi State, Northwestern State, Ole Miss, Savannah State, South Alabama, Tennessee. UAB, Wake Forest and Washington State.

Williams may be one of the most underrated signees in this class. After transferring to Trinity Christian School in Texas he put up a monster year. He played wide receiver, but was also used at safety on defense and on special teams.

Williams helped lead TCHS to a National Championship and had a huge season. Williams made 73 catches for 1,638 yards and 10 touchdowns including a huge game on National TV.. He also had several interceptions on defense. He is list at 6’1” and 182 pounds. Williams shows that he can get open against really good high school talent and his use in all three phases of the game speaks to him being the best athlete on the field.

The Hoosiers could have to replace both Ty Fryfogle and Whop Philyor in 2021 should they opt not to return. The Hoosiers already lost Rashawn Williams to the NCAA Transfer Portal so Jordyn Williams could be a player who steps in and contributes right away. He has big play ability, great hands and has played against some of the best competition in the country.
