High School – Cedar Grove (Georgia)
2020 has been a year for the history books for the Indiana Hoosiers. IU has an impressive group of defensive backs such as Jamar Johnson and Devon Matthews. These players have received national attention. This six foot 185 lbs recruit will be an excellent addition to the team.
Grier has had 23 college offers and we are hoping that he finds a home here at IU. Grier looks like a great find for the hoosiers and they will welcome him with open arms. Grier can play all over the secondary, a trait that any coach would love to have in the secondary. Grier is listed a 6’ and 185 pounds. He had a solid junior season at Ceder Grove High School as he put up 56 tackles for a team that went 13-2. He has great ball skills as he also had four interceptions which he returned for touchdowns. He also returned kicks and is probably the best athlete on the field.
“I feel like Indiana was the right school for me because they were the only school to keep in contact with me since they started recruiting me,” Grier told Matt Weaver of Peegs.com on why the chose the Hoosiers. “They’ve been recruiting me since January I believe. They have kept a great relationship with me. They have a great relationship with my mom as well. I just felt like it was the right school for me.”
Grier should have plenty of time to develop his game with all of Indiana’s secondary eligible to return in 2021.
