The Hoosiers already have an All-Conference caliber kicker from Greenwood, IN in Griffin Oakes, on Tuesday night former Center Grove kicker Nathanael Snyder tweeted he will be attending Indiana and plans to walk-on to the team. Snyder will join fellow Center Grove specialist, punter Drew Conrad at IU.

The defensive front needs to be a priority in the 2017 class for the Indiana Hoosiers and they took a big step in solidifying that area of need as Ben Davis High School prospect LeShaun Minor committed to IU. Minor, a 6’3”, 255-pound 3-star prospect from new defensive coordinator Tom Allen’s former school, is rated by 247Sports as the ninth-best prospect in the state of Indiana. Minor chose IU over offers from Iowa State, Minnesota, Illinois and Cincinnati and he’ll line up on the defensive front for new position coach Mark Hagen.

According to John Ourand of the Sports Business Journal, ESPN has agreed to pay an average $190 million per year over six years for nearly half of the B1G's media rights package. In April, Fox Sports surprised nearly everyone by paying an average of $240 million per year. In addition, to the deal made with Fox Sports and ESPN, CBS Sports has choses to renew its basketball-only package for $10 million per year.
