The Hoosiers have landed three-star Florida defensive end Tramar Reece, as he tweeted out his commitment to the Hoosiers on Sunday afternoon.
According to Max Preps writer Lynden Ostrander, who covers the area in Florida, Reece is "long, athletic, and versatile. (Has) great moves off the line (and) gets by guys with ease. (He Is) a pass rusher with length." Reece also plays basketball at a 6'3" and 210-pounds is a freak of an athlete and keeps with Kevin Wilson's philosophy of recruiting two-sport athletes.
Reece is a 247 Sports 3-star prospected and is rated the 64th best weak-side defensive end in the nation and the 244th best player in the state of Florida. Reece was recently on Indiana's campus for the Hoosiers' summer camps. Reece had 16 total offers including Power-Five teams Duke, Iowa State, and Louisville.
Reece is the fifth member of the 2017 recruiting class for the Hoosiers and raises their team ranking to 78th nationally and 13th in the Big Ten.
