Friday night, two more Indiana football commits—safeties Larry Smith III and Aubrey Burke— kicked off their high school football seasons and led their team to victory. Four of the seven Indiana football 2021 commits who suited up this weekend helped their team to win. Here is how the future Hoosiers performed in week four of high school football’s return.
3-star recruit from Cedar Hill, Texas. 6’1”, 182 lbs Wide Receiver. National Player Rank: 802nd. Position Rank: 116th. State Rank: 112th.
Contributed 141 yards on 4 receptions and 2 touchdowns to Trinity Christian’s 56-32 away nonconference win over Malakoff.
3-star recruit from Brownsburg, Indiana. 6’6”, 285 lb Offensive Tackle. National Player Rank: 603rd. Position Rank: 48th. State Rank: 10th.
Key player in Brownsburg’s 47-29 home conference win over Avon.
4-star recruit from Indianapolis, Indiana. 6’5”, 195 lb Quarterback. National Player Rank: 320th. Position Rank: 12th. State Rank: 3rd.
Led Lawrence North to score three touchdowns that was not enough against North Central who defeated at home them 27-21.
3-star recruit from Fort Wayne, Indiana. 6’4”, 300 lb Offensive Guard. National Player Rank: 1100th. Position Rank: 53rd. State Rank: 18th.
Helped Bishop Dwenger’s offense keep it close in Friday’s 35-34 away conference loss against Homestead.
3-star recruit from Bloomington, Indiana. 6’5”, 230 lb Tight End. National Player Rank: 736th. Position Rank: 36th. State Rank: 13th.
Totaled 2 catches for 46 yards in Bloomington North’s 44-37 overtime loss to rival Bloomington South.
Steinfeldt on the loss: “Obviously they outperformed us, especially at the end, but as a team we played our best football tonight than other games. We’ve learned so much about ourselves than other games before. We’ll learn from this as a team, and come back with a chip on our shoulder and have a good rest of the season.”

Helped Oakleaf defense hold Buchholz to two touchdowns in their 35-14 season-opening win.
3-star recruit from Auburndale, Florida. 6’0”, 180lb Safety. National Player Rank: 770th. Position Rank: 58th. State Rank: 104th.
Led Auburndale to shut out Pasco 33-0 in their home opener game.

Michigan reinstated high school football on Thursday, allowing first games to be played 9/17. Avonsdale’s first game is 10/2 at Athens.
