Despite missing out on Avon's Brandon Peters, the Hoosiers have a host of other talented targets from the 2016 class on their radar. Below are the prospects that currently have offers from Indiana or could be on the verge of landing one. Included is Tampa's Rex Culpepper, as there is some discrepancy between the three recruiting websites as to whether he holds an offer from the Hoosiers or not. Also included are Peters, Austin Kendall, and Noah Wezensky, because as we know when it comes to recruiting never count out the Hoosiers coaching staff, even after a player has committed elsewhere. Star rankings are based upon 247 Sports Composite Rankings.

This last week has been a busy one for recruiting, especially at the quarterback position. Two IU targets, Avon's Brandon Peters and North Carolina's Austin Kendall committed elsewhere this week. The Hoosiers also extended an offer to a dual threat quarterback from the Sooner State, Terry Wilson.
