A handful of Hoosiers will be focused on the NFL Draft this week. The draft will take place as scheduled with round one on Thursday, April 23rd. The following six rounds take place on Friday and Saturday. Nick Westbrook, Reakwon Jones and Simon Stepaniak were able to sit down with reporters to discuss how they're handling things.

Former Indiana Hoosier offensive lineman Wes Martin was selected 131st overall (fourth round) by the Washington Redskins in the 2019 NFL Draft on Saturday afternoon. Martin played in 50 games (43 starts) in his Hoosier career and was a two-time All-Big Ten honorable mention. With Martin’s selection, the Hoosiers have now had a player in six consecutive drafts.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana safety Jonathan Crawford, long snapper Dan Godsil and offensive tackle Brandon Knight will participate in the 2019 NFL Scouting Combine at Lucas Oil Stadium from Tuesday-Monday, Feb. 26-March 4. This is third time in four years (2018 – program record 5, 2016 – 4) at least three Hoosiers have received invitations to the NFL's showcase event.

Ian Thomas’ dreams came true on Saturday when he was selected by the Carolina Panthers with the 101st overall pick in the fourth round. It’s been a long and winding road up until this point in Thomas’ life. The Baltimore, Maryland native endured the passing of his parents at a young age. Along with his eight siblings, Thomas was put in an unfathomable situation. He persevered through adversity and, despite his impressive size, Thomas was always overlooked – until now.

Five Hoosiers Performed at the NFL Scouting Combine this Past Weekend, Here's What They Did

Five former Indiana football stars were invited to participate in the 2018 NFL Combine in Indianapolis, which began last week and concluded on Monday.

Wide receiver Simmie Cobbs Jr. was the only Hoosier to participate in all seven drills, while Ian Thomas was involved in five. Linebackers Tegray Scales and Chris Covington took part in only the bench press and 40-yard dash. Cornerback Rashard Fant was unable to participate due to a torn pectoral muscle.

Here are the results from Indianapolis, along with a brief scouting report on each player from the past week. Indiana will also have its pro day on April 3.
