that’s it? All you have done is list stuff you don’t like or don’t agree with. None of that is the least bit kingly. In fact I’d say the trial judges who review Trump’s discretionary Article II decisions de novo are more of a threat to the constitution than Trump. They must not substitute their judgement for the President’s.
Did this become a trans thread?
No, you're looking for the George Santos / the face of MAGA thread.
Dude try to keep up. There were some messages that were looking trans with strange fonts. There were even comments about them. I don't care about MAGA or Soros or what they do. You have a serious problem.
Permit me to be blunt here. Michael Dorf is a moron. I can out lawyer him any day of the week and twice on Sunday. With professors like him at prestigious law schools, it is no wonder that the quality of law practice and judging is on the decline. There is a lot wrong with his argument, but the most egregious and telling mistake is his answer to question #4. To his credit, though, the simple answer to the question is no, as he said, but he has no idea about why the answer is no. I put his answer in the blind squirrel category.
The answer is no because official immunity has no effect on judicial review. Period. ‘Nuff said. It’s a bad question.
Dorf’s gratuitous shot at immunity shows his total ignorance. The Supreme Court didn’t grant Trump immunity, instead it recognized immunity. Every public official, from a meter reader, to county commissioner, to President has official immunity.
Dorf doesn’t understand official immunity, doesn’t understand judicial review, and doesn’t understand separation of powers. He obviously doesn’t like anything about Trump. It’s a shame that guy teaches, writes and enjoys influence in law.

The protests are not going to change the mind of a single Trump supporter.
The protesters also know that the White House doesn't give a crap.
The purpose of the protests is to get noticed by the 10% of Americans who don't follow politics at all but still actually vote in elections.
Let's be honest, 90% of the voters out there are going to vote in 2026 / 2028 based upon their party of choice. Nothing that is done (outside something monumentally bad / stupid / catastrophic) by either party is going to affect that.
But when someone who doesn't follow the news cycle religiously and is just living their life day-to-day drives down the street and sees thousands of protesters gathered and sending a unified message, it leaves an impression. With how close the margins are right now in swing states, just getting 1 in 10 of those undecided votes is pretty much all it takes to achieve the margin of victory.
So yeah, dismiss these protests all you like, but you are not the target audience.
You’re absolutely right, it will send a message, one that will be interpreted by most as “can you believe these fucking losers are out here blocking the streets again? Ugh, these people are the worst.”

We're gonna end up paying for this new construction at the white house.
Debunked? HOW?@squeakyclean it's bizarre there's about a 50 cent difference depending upon what town you are in here. but no probably not historic. we can thank biden for 2022 and the most expensive gas in us history.
Ummm, if you want to blame the 30-40 cent increase when Biden first came into office on him, I'm fine with that. Still a large gas price increase and falls on his shoulders.
The 2022 increase was a result of Russia invading Ukraine, which Biden had no control over. (And if you are one of those "Russia wouldn't have invaded Ukraine if Trump was president" believers, I think that narrative has been pretty well debunked by now).
Because the God-awful Colossal blunder NATO(US) has wrought upon Ukraine and Germany can't be 'fixed' overnight?
Biden had no control over his bowels, let alone his warmonger rogue government.
Biden had no control over his bowels....
you do realize that your guy is known to regularly wear adult diapers, right?

@hurryinghoosiers i would be widely missed. not so much by the hardcore lefties. for sure. you on the other hand have the unique distinction of being disliked and thought a moron by both sides. kudos. going all the way back to the 90s you're the only poster i can think of to enjoy such a designation.
Keep telling yourself that but why don't you prove it and leave
