Do you think he will lead to more 2 way players? Hunter Greene could have been, he also played short.

As much as I hate the Dodgers, Oh is an amazing story

I don’t know. He had a game in September last year where he went 6-for-6, 3 home runs, 2 doubles, 2 stolen bases and 10 runs batted in. Became the first player in mlb history to become a member of the 50-50 (HRs and stolen bases) club in one year in that game.

These two games are more likely 1a and 1b. You can’t lose picking one of the two over the other. Both amazing.

Can anyone here play this game?

He’s fun to watch. May end up the greatest ever if he can sustain this another 10-15 years.

@stollcpa

He’s 31. 15 years more would really be something.

I amend that to 5-7 years. 😂

Did he also pitch in that game?

I remember we had a storm come through which caused me to not be able to see the 7 and 8th inning.  I was literally on my back porch trying to get signal on my phone to watch.

Came back on in the top of the 9th.  It would have been on brand to not be able to see the end of that game.

True story: I am so superstitious that I will not go back and rewatch any part of that Word Series. I'm secretly afraid if I watch it again, the outcome will change.

I rewatch the last couple of innings all the time. Brings back great memories.

Three absolute bombs after throwing 100mph (or higher) fastballs, nasty sinkers, and sliders. Just insane. Given the stage, it might be the best performance in sports history.

That could be a fun topic.

I'd argue the Jordan flu game was the best (off the top of my head) performance.   Scoring 38 points in Game 5 in a 2 point win with the flu is pretty damn amazing.

Postseason play elevates the performance. Probably up there with Don Larsen's perfect game in the world series, maybe above Reggie Jackson's 3 HR world series game. Outside of baseball, up there with Ali-Frazier Thrilla in Manilla and Brady's 28-3 comeback.
