@squeakyclean It's called personalized marketing. The system already knew that you just pulled 16 hrs and a $hit ton of extra coin, and you needed gas. OR, at 3AM you were so ruffied up that you would pay it.

After you passed by, the sign changed to $2.39. You actually are already in the Matrix. Welcome to the Cube.

You're half right.

1) The Matrix knows that I'm salary, so there was no extra coin.

2) The Matrix knows that I drive a hybrid and wont need gas for two more weeks, so the price will steadily decline for the next two weeks to get me hopeful and then slam back up again 10 minutes before my low gas light comes on.

Looking at what Trump is doing to the east wing I would say it was long overdue.  Whole place is honestly dated and ugly. It’s probably a tear down.  Would love to see him just build something new. Contemporary.  Lots of stone. Cement. Glass.  Etc.

Hopefully with a big TRUMP sign on the front.

Apparently Federal Buildings cannot be majorly renovated without Congressional approval. Just another log on the fire from the massive woodpile of lawlessness. But the GOP Congress lacks balls.

😆

Carlson disagrees with you (partially).

One of the non-political tangents Tucker went off on last night was the ugliness of newly built cement and glass "box" buildings everywhere.  Some kid had asked him about the WH remodel.

Tucker kinda hinted remodeling the East Wing, if done tastefully in accordance with the classic look, would be no big deal.  Said the East Wing was kinda dated anyway...

but he hates modern construction looks.

Debunked?  HOW?

Because the God-awful Colossal blunder NATO(US) has wrought upon Ukraine and Germany  can't be 'fixed' overnight?

Biden had no control over his bowels, let alone his warmonger rogue government.

Debunked in that all we were hearing from Republicans at this time last year was that either A) Putin was scared of Trump and never would have invaded Ukraine if he had been in the oval office or B) Trump is such a master deal-maker that he would have made some kind of deal to keep Russia from attacking.

Mr. "I will end the Russia / Ukraine war on day one" has failed to do anything but spend over a million dollars on a flyover meant to intimidate, but apparently had no affect whatsoever.  And apparently Trump is not so much of a master deal maker either because he cant even get Putin to come to the table right now (Putin just cancelled the latest round of talks in Hungary) and the last visit with Zelenski at the White House devolved into a screaming / swearing session.

So, it is very obvious that Putin is not scared of Trump and Trump himself, in a rare moment of clarity, even admitted that the situation was more complicated / difficult than he expected.

It was one thing to make the claim that Russia would never have invaded Ukraine when Trump wasn't in office.  There was no data to look at and you can't prove a negative.

Well Trump now HAS been in office for 9 months and we have plenty of data showing how little Putin thinks of Trump's threats.  There is nothing that makes me believe that things would have been any different with Trump in office in 2022.

....except for the possibility that the war would have been over because Trump would have capitulated to Putin by either not supporting the rest of the European Union in putting economic sanctions on Russia and / or not sending aid / military equipment, which would have resulted in the Ukraine having fallen / surrendered by now.

This perfectly illustrates the frustrating thing about the TDS mindset, and why no practical American takes you dorks seriously.

Trump PRIVATELY funds an upgrade to an underutilized wing of the White House, to be done in in the WH consistent style, by a highly reputed firm that specializes in classical architecture.  Not asking Congress for money.  Making capital improvements that don't cost the taxpayer a dime.

Instead of recognizing the effort, reviewing the concept looks and commenting, and/or appreciating the fact he isn't sticking Americans with the bill (which he probably should)...

you're crying about "lawlessness" of a privately funded, overdue, capital improvements project, simply because it's done under the Trump presidency, you know it's a value add, will look good, and will add to Trump's legacy 😆

Trump SAYS that he has already raised the money, privately. No evidence. Just more lies, most likely. And the congressional oversight on any major renovations of historically important Federal buildings is NOT tied to funding it, anyway.

It was "good".  Not quite Kirk-level "great", but not bad.

Tucker illustrates perfectly how "MAGA" has a wide range of takes that are all varying to some degree.  Only ran through about ten questioners.  Only ones that went sideways were the ones that started with a statement of opinion as fact, and then rolled into a question based on that mis-stated initial assumption (illustrating the variance of opinions of the right-lean on topics).

The typical Gilligan-like "Given you're MAGA, who clearly believes X, how do you defend X given this and that?".

Tucker - "when did I support X?"

TDS leftist - "Well I don't know if you did, but this MAGA associated guy said he agrees with X, so how do you defend him?"

Had his two dogs out on stage with him.  Got a bit worked up on occasion, but obviously pulled punches (and admitted as much) in honor of Charlie...who always simply kid-gloved the misguided college kids.

As much as Trump enjoys insulting the previous administration (for example Biden's portrait), if the next president is a democrat and just as petty, I could see him going on TV, going into the ballroom, replace a chair at one of the tables with a new one in a different style, then walking up to the gold plaque outside the Trump Ballroom with a crowbar, popping off the plaque, and then hanging a new one with his name on it.

Trump's head might actually explode.

He put tile over the grass where chicks with heels couldn't walk when it rained.  Looking out for the well-being and safety of women.  Fine.
