B-Town Bound: Devine Redding is Number 14

 The Hoosiers picked up their 14th commitment of the class of 2014 to kick-off the bye week. Devine Redding a 5-foot-10, 210 pound running back out of the state of Ohio pulled the trigger on Sunday and verbally committed to play his collegiate football for the Hoosiers. While the Hoosiers were the only major offer that Redding held, he had interest from other major programs such as Illinois, Louisville, and Ohio State.

Indiana loses another offensive lineman for the year.

The Hoosiers received another blow to the offensive line today as Kevin Wilson announced that Peyton Eckert will miss the remainder of the season and undergo back surgery.  Eckart has been out since the beginning of the season with a back injury.  The junior from Illinois marks the second offensive lineman lost for the season in the last two weeks.

Hoosier Nation is looking for a reason to jump on the bandwagon of the IU Football program. They got reason number one when Kevin Wilson and Crew went out and upset Penn State last week. It was the first time in program history that they beat the Nittany Lions, and the first time in current students lifetimes that the Hoosiers took down one of the blue bloods of the Big Ten.

Can the Hoosiers do it again? It will be tough sledding against the lock down defense of Michigan State. Incase you have not been watching the Spartans with bated breathe throughout 2013, we are here to give you some Spark Notes on Sparty. The experts out in Vegas say that Sparty will win by double digits...what do you think?

    First Quarter Grades: Indiana Hoosiers Defense

    While we may be only three games into the season, it also happens to be the quarter mark of the 2013 slate. Isn’t it amazing how much quicker time flies when football is around?! Well, with that unfortunately being the case, we decided it was time to take a look back at the opening trio of games that the Hoosiers have played.

    As opposed to doing a boring breakdown of each game, we decided to spice things up a bit and give a first quarter report card to each unit of the team. Yesterday we kicked things off with the offense, but don’t worry, we’re back today grading the defense and tomorrow we will even take a look at special teams and the coaches.
