Indiana University was gifted with extremely good news on Wednesday evening as starting left tackle Carter Smith announced he is returning to Bloomington and remaining a Hoosier. Smith had been in the transfer portal and visited several powerhouse programs with Florida State and Ole Miss standing out as probable destinations but he surprised many by sending a message on social media that he was ready to play for new football coach Curt Cignetti.
