Eight Hoosiers Earn Scholarships as 2015 Season Opener Nears

The Indiana Hoosiers are just a fortnight away from their season opener, but Friday afternoon was a very successful and joyous occasion for eight Hoosiers football players who earned a full ride for the 2015-16 school year.

Ben Bach, Rickey Brookins, Michael Cooper, Anthony Corsaro, Damon Graham, Griffin Oakes, Mitchell Paige, and Erich Toth all earned scholarships for their hard work and dedicated as it was announced after practice Friday morning when athletic director Fred Glass called the eight players up in front of the team.

Crimson Topples the Cream in the Annual Spring Game

Gorgeous weather and the promise of a new football season brought more than 10,000 fans to Memorial Stadium to see the Indiana Hoosiers Spring Game. Coach Kevin Wilson decided to pair up the 1st team offense with the 2nd team defense (Cream squad) and the 2nd team offense with the 1st team defense (Crimson squad). Zander Diamont threw a pair of touchdown passes to Damon Graham to lead the Crimson squad to a 13-10 victory.

Spring Practice Report 3/31/15

Champions are made during the spring, a motto all successful football programs take to heart. Coach Wilson and the Hoosiers were on gridiron Tuesday morning working hard to hone their skills in preparation for this upcoming season. During this beautiful, slightly breezy spring day the energy was high as the players went head-to-head in both drills and some situational scrimmage work. The scrimmage revealed no obvious winners, as the offense would break off a big run and the defense would counter by stuffing the next play at the line of scrimmage.
