As a sci-fi, fantasy and comic nerd I loved his work but he was great in everything he did. Rest in Peace.

ah man. I always enjoyed his acting and he was always entertaining in interviews and podcasts too. He's in what will likely be the highest grossing movie all time this coming December: Avengers Doomsday.
That's sad, especially after Koenig's death so recently. Stewart was a great actor. That first year of Next Gen was rough, he was pretty much the only reason to watch.
Good. Hollywood doesn’t need any more thespians.
(j/k)
RIP
Bummer. I'll be sure to watch his rendition of the Christmas Carol in about a month.

I was a Korg fan, personally.
I can't think of anything I didn't like that P.S. was in. RIP to one of the all time greats.
The best of all the Star Trek captains, and the iteration of the franchise that holds up best, IMO, after a spotty season 1.
The Inner Light may be the best episode in the Star Trek franchise, where Picard lives an entire life on an ancient world, after encountering a probe.
🙁 “brief and poignant journey with Alzheimer’s Disease and Lewy Body Dementia”

TNG was a great series, though Deep Space 9 was my favorite. It had a wider cast of interesting characters.

That was a great episode, as was Change of Command where he saw 4 lights.
At the downtown Indy Teak and Shake during Gencon 20 years ago our table got into the Kirk v Picard debate. One of my friends said, "My God, we couldn't get any nerdier."
DS9 had some great episodes, but all of the Bajoran mysticism was weird, with the orb experiences, Celestial Temple, the Prophets, etc. The spirituality focus seemed out of place for the Star Trek universe. Plus the Dominion War seemed to drag on too long.

I thought the Dominion War was excellent, the series struggled away from it. Much like it's big brother B5 was great when dealing with the Shadow War but ok in the remaining.
The best of all the Star Trek captains
Not so fast, to adjudicate this we must first discuss who brought us 7 of 9 and whom brought us Deanna Troy, with pictures and then decide who was the better of the two. I think they both are pole worthy.
Tantrums don't change outcomes
Losing is part of life. Sometimes the answer is simply NO.
7 of 9
I'd totally let her assimilate me...resistance is both futile and ghey.
