No less stable than your social media influencer getting hard at the thought of Trump attending oral argument at the Supreme Court.

Wasn't the SG asked today how often birth tourism happens and he couldn't give any sort of number?

Trump is meeting with Xi next month.  Seems like this ("birth tourism") is something he could address directly with Xi.

China is providing some incentives for putative birth tourists to stay and deliver in their own country.  Maybe Xi needs to increase the incentives, or perhaps Trump could throw in some of his own cash.

Without reviewing the entire thread, I’m pretty sure I said the SCOTUS would rule unanimously against the President’s EO. It appears the SCOTUS will strike down the EO but Thomas might dissent. I actually oppose birthright citizenship but also think (soon to be know) that it can’t be changed by Presidential decree.

Alito will join Thomas. Those two are barking mad.

Absolutely comical that the clown thinks he would be able to effect the oral argument. Does he think he can just stare them down and influence the decision?

As it turns out, it sounds like they didn't give a shit and Trump wasn't happen with how things went.

Haven't you repeatedly said the court was Trump's lapdog? Glad you're coming around.

@bradstevens

Even lapdogs have their limits.

Doesn't it take at least four to grant cert? How did this even get this far?

Even if it were 50-50 I can’t see how they would vote in favor of him and create the image of him affecting their decision. Pride trumps Trump.
