Comes in line with expectations. I guess inflation rips next month 🤫 @spartans9312 I'm sticking with a cut in September. I was reading a person yesterday who thinks monthly tariff revenues can get to 50 billion. If that's true, the jobs data will continue to look shitty and a slowing economy is the bigger concern.
@dbmhoosier that's not my experience at the grocery store. i bought a bunch of steaks over the weekend. fing hell expensive as shit. and that was at our regular grocery store. not the fancy one. groceries are crazy expensive in my anecdotal experience here

What is the Fed's inflation target? What did inflation come in at?

They don't have to hit their stated inflation target to cut or they wouldn't have cut before the election. Also, they have been below 2% the past 6 months. I personally hope they don't cut, because it means jobs growth bounced back and the economy is doing fine. I don't see that happening though. The tariffs are too big and the tax cuts too small.
cougs in yoga pants do. There and Target.@mrhighlife no one wants to go to aldi.
Aldi =/= Whole Foods. That place is a gold mine.
Take notes McM

Core CPI was up. I wouldn’t bet on a cut
