@shooter I honestly haven't dug this deep on this... just because its better, does that mean its "acceptable"... Is it still one of the most violent cities? In non war times, would using National Guard to support local law enforcement agencies make sense? Too deeply woven in to the fabric of our republic, that we don't do that?
Anxious to hear from some GOPers... seems like this is one of the biggest reasons for our right to bear arms, is to not allow the government to police "us" like this. Obviously most ardent 2nd amendment people, probably don't see the men and women committing violent crimes in DC, as "us".
