2019 Indiana Football Position Preview: Defensive Line

The Hoosiers return plenty of experience on the defensive line, but beyond the frontline there will be some questions about IU’s depth that need answered. Seniors Allen Stallings and Gavin Everett are set to anchor the defensive end spots. Those tactics worked as he didn’t record a single sack this season and had only 38 tackles. Stats don’t tell the whole story though and Norris doesn’t lack talent one bit.

Indiana Lands Longtime In-State Target Norris

Indiana Lands Longtime In-State Target Norris

Written by: TJ Inman (@HoosierHuddle)

The Indiana Hoosiers have landed another in-state target as defensive end Madison Norris pledged a verbal commitment to Tom Allen and the Cream and Crimson. The Indianapolis product is a senior at Hamilton Southeastern and he is the third player from the state to join the 2018 recruiting class, joining Reese Taylor and Jordan Jusevitch. Norris is a weakside defensive end with tremendous speed and he adds to a list of pass rushers that IU hopes can be a deep group that begins to wreak havoc on opposing quarterbacks.
