Hoosiers Announce 2020 Awards at Annual Football Banquet

The Indiana football program held their annual awards banquet on Thursday night to commemorate the 2020 season in which the Hoosiers finished 12th in the AP Poll with a record of 6-2. Tom Allen gave out 19 awards to 26 different players. The ceremony was also highlighted by the inaugural Chris Beaty Award, an award given in honor of Chris Beaty, a former Hoosier football player who walked on to the team and was killed last summer trying to thwart a robbery. C.J. Person has signed with the Indiana Hoosiers. Person is a 6-foot-2, 295-pound standout defensive tackle from Montgomery Catholic Prep School in Alabama. He is one of the top-50 players in the state of Alabama and he is among the top-75 defensive tackles in the country. Person will provide Indiana with good size up front for years to come.
