College Football Links (May 7, 2021)
Happy Friday, Hoosier fans! It’s been a newsworthy week for Tom Allen the Hoosiers as they officially added transfer DL Weston Kramer to the squad, and added Colorado State as a nonconference matchup for the 2026 season.
The biggest news was that former defensive back Jamar Johnson’s name was called as the 20th pick in the fifth round (164th overall) of the NFL Draft, to extend IU’s draft streak to eight years. Although Johnson was the lone Hoosier to get drafted, four others have signed UDFA deals with NFL teams so far—Whop Philyor with the Minnesota Vikings, Harry Crider with the Philadelphia Eagles, Stevie Scott with the New Orleans Saints, and Jerome Johnson with the Miami Dolphins. We’ll keep you posted as more deals reel in for former IU football players.
