Moments after Indiana running back Devine Redding declared for the NFL Draft, Hoosier linebacker Marcus Oliver announced on Twitter he too will enter the 2017 NFL Draft.

The Indiana Hoosiers have quickly become a running back factory under Kevin Wilson and Deland McCullough. On Friday afternoon running back Devine Redding, owner of back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons for the Hoosiers became the third IU running back in as many years to enter the NFL Draft. As the starting running back in 2016 Redding had a solid season in which he ran for 1,122 yards and seven touchdowns on 253 carries. Redding was also a capable pass catcher out of the backfield hauling in 27 passes for 127 yards and two touchdowns. He finishes his career with 2,252 yards and 17 touchdowns on the ground.

Indiana fans can let out a big sigh of relief as IU's top cornerback Rashard Fant announced on Twitter Thursday morning that he will return for his fifth-year in 2017. Fant had a terrific junior season that saw him blossom into one of the conferences best corners. He earned All-Big Ten Second-Team honors, made 33 tackles, picked off a career-high three passes returning one for a touchdown, and broke up 17 passes. His 20 passes defensed was good for third nationally.

When a football program undergoes the changes that Indiana has it is usually followed by some changes in recruiting and commitments from high school prospects. Late Wednesday night Steve Wiltfong of 247 Sports reported that three-start tight end recruit had de-committed from Indiana University.

The Indiana Hoosiers have officially announced the hiring of former Tennessee offensive coordinator Mike DeBord. As soon as the hire came across the wire it had been met with a wide range of reactions from IU fans. Love it or hate it, Tom Allen has decided to replace Kevin Johns with this Indiana native rich with coaching experience and we hope this article helps you get to know IU’s new play-caller a bit better.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana head football coach Tom Allen announced Wednesday the hiring of Mike DeBord as associate head coach/offensive coordinator/tight ends coach and Grant Heard as passing game coordinator/wide receivers coach. Everyone knew that changes would be coming, and coming quickly for Indiana Football since the coaching change from Kevin Wilson to Tom Allen occurred. In a report first put out by Indiana Daily Student reporter Jordan Guskey Allen has relieved offensive coordinator Kevin Johns and tight ends coach James Patton of their coaching duties with the university.
