Micah McFadden Drafted in 5th Round by New York Giants

Indiana linebacker Micah McFadden was selected in the fifth round (146th overall) of the NFL Draft by the New York Giants. McFadden’s selection extends IU’s draft streak to nine straight years.

McFadden was an anchor on the IU defense the last three seasons and played in 45 games and finished his career with 216 total tackles, 37 tackles for loss and 14 sacks. He has a nose for the ball as well as McFadden had four interceptions and three fumble recoveries as well.

Report: Indiana to Hire Aaron Wellman as New Strength and Conditioning Coach

As first reported by Matt Weaver of Peegs.com, the Indiana Hoosiers will hire Aaron Wellman to fill the hole left by David Ballou at strength and conditioning coach when Ballou left for Alabama. Wellman comes to IU after spending four seasons as the strength coach for the New York Football Giants of the NFL.
