Hoosiers Nab Five-Star Texas Kicker Nicolas Radicic

The future of the Hoosiers kicking game looks to be in good hands, er feet, as IU landed Nicolas Radicic, a five-star kicker according to Kohl’s Kicking. With Charles Campbell entering his redshirt senior season (with an option for 2023), the Hoosiers were on the look out for his replacement. Radicic is rated as the number three kicker in the nation. He is from Coppell, Texas and kicks for Coppell high school.

According to the Kohl’s scouting report, “Radicic recently attended the May 2022 Texas Showcase Camp. He once again showed that he is one of the more pure ball strikers in his class. His timing and athleticism allow him to maximize his energy into the football and create great hang-time and distance in all three disciplines. Radicic was one of the top performers during the 2021 Kohl's Winter Ranking camps. He hit multiple field goals that are at the college level and also demonstrated that he has the leg strength on punts to be a great combo specialist.”

Radicic is also an All-American Bowl selection. He other accolades include:

  • 2nd team All District TX 6-6A - Kicker 2021/2022

  • All American Bowl by Adidas on NBC; 2023 - Kicker

  • 1st place Kicking competition - May 2022 TX - Kohl's Spring Showcase Camp
