The early signing period for college football is now open and prospects and transfers are inking letters of intent all over the country. Hoosier Huddle will have profiles on all the football signees as well as an update from head coach Tom Allen.

The Hoosiers found their future kicker over the summer and on Wednesday Nicolas Radicic signed with IU.

Radicic, out of Coppell, Texas, is a five-star prospect according to Kohl’s Kicking ratings and rated the third best kicker prospect in the country by 247Sports. He is also selected to play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

According to the Kohl’s scouting report, “Radicic recently attended the May 2022 Texas Showcase Camp. He once again showed that he is one of the more pure ball strikers in his class. His timing and athleticism allow him to maximize his energy into the football and create great hang-time and distance in all three disciplines. Radicic was one of the top performers during the 2021 Kohl's Winter Ranking camps. He hit multiple field goals that are at the college level and also demonstrated that he has the leg strength on punts to be a great combo specialist.”

Radicic should have the inside track for replacing Charles Campbell who transferred to Tennessee after the 2022 season.
