The early signing period for college football is now open and prospects and transfers are inking letters of intent all over the country. Hoosier Huddle will have profiles on all the football signees as well as an update from head coach Tom Allen.

The Hoosiers received more good news for their secondary in 2023 and beyond as four-star recruit Amare Ferrell has signed with the Hoosiers. Ferrell is out of Columbia High School in Lake City, Florida. He is listed at six-foot-one and a half inches and 192 pounds. He had offers from eight other Power Five schools including Miami (FL), Florida State, Penn State, Arizona and Tennessee.

Ferrell earned All-First Coast honors as a junior and helped the Tigers to the 2022 Florida High School Athletic Association Class 3A state semifinals. He posted 39 tackles and three interceptions during his junior season.
