Daily College Football Links (January 29, 2021)

Happy Friday, Hoosier fans! Your AFCA Coach of the Year Tom Allen and the Indiana Hoosiers’ off-season work is in full swing. This weekend, Allen announced IU football’s One Word for 2021 is ”Chase”— an earnest or frenzied seeking after something desired. As the Hoosiers chase after their offseason goals, we are here to keep you updated.

The Hoosiers filled one of the two holes in the coaching staff, left by running backs coach Mike Hart who left Indiana for his alma mater and defensive coordinator Kane Wommack who stepped up to the South Alabama head coach position. The former University of Georgia defensive backs coach Charlton Warren’s was hired as IU’s new defensive coordinator and was introduced this week, so we have included stories about him below. We will keep you posted on the running backs coaching search.

The IU football squad gained 14 players on early signing day. We have gotten to know these players and have watched them closely this year and have made profiles on each of the 14 guys who made their commitment official in December. Get to know them here.
