Vance/Rubio 2028

Rubio is an Israel 1st m'fer.  Pass on him.  Unfortunately, Vance is being touted by TP USA which seems another Israel 1st group.  IMO, Vance might want to distance himself from Israel. He is young enough to wait for a future election.   I'd vote for Vance unless he is backing Israel in the campaign.

My first choice would be Massie.  Trump and the foreign Israel faction money got him beat.  How much did Israel lobbyist pour into the primary to get him removed.  Might be best thing that ever happened to him.   The anti-Israel support theme is likely to grow by 2028 and the line is clear that he likely leads tops that group of people.

I'll never vote for a Democrat again.  what a racist group of people.  Seems their party platform is to hate Trump and use the race card to generate propaganda to get votes.

At this point in time, I'd probably just not vote if notr Massie or Vance.  Maybe Spike will come back but doubtful.

How do the Dems beat this ticket?

https://twitter.com/IAPolls2022/status/1952842001193550108?t=6fSo6uOXAOH4M-c7rkvOiw&s=19

How do Dems ever win?

Fill the streets with vans hauling illegal immigrants from precinct to precinct casting illegal votes, and flooding the “mail in ballots” with dead and fake people “voting”?

I preferred Rubio (and any other Republican running) over Trump in 2016. I'd very likely be all about voting for him in 2028. He's avoided becoming a Trump sycophant and rolling around in the MAGA shit for the most part. Vance was great at first and then decided to go all in on covering himself with Trump/MAGA shit. It'll take a lot of effort and time to rid himself of that stank.

Rubio-Haley or something along those lines would be a winner.

Do you know any still in the “it doesn’t happen” camp or have they all moved to the “it doesn’t happen enough to make a difference” camp?

@oneeyedundertaker of course it happens. Rarely, but it shouldn't happen at all. We're on the same page on preventing ALL illegal voting. Anyone that thinks illegal voting made a difference in any national election is a moron. This is a pretty simple and factual thing, but morons do not understand it. For example, morons think it happened in 2020, but not 2016 or 2024.

How many votes “make a difference?”  Morons also know that 600<700, which you argued against for multiple posts…

Presidential?  2000 is probably the only one that would even come close to the benchmark and that was still, what?  1700 votes?  The thing is, because that vote was so close (0.5%), a mandatory recount was ordered and every vote was examined with a fine-toothed comb.  So even if there ever is a case where illegal votes could swing the vote one way or the other, odds are high that they would be discovered during the recount.

Also, 2000 was much more likely to be swung by poor ballot design than by illegal voting.

So what’s the number that’s ok 1,700?  1699?  .05%, no matter how many votes?

So if you can prove to me that there has been an election where the number of votes that have been cast illegally has altered the outcome, maybe we'll give it a bit more of the ole doom and gloom "we gotta solve this problem at all costs" attention you think it deserves.  Considering the most cases that you can find are not even close to that level, you shouldn't be surprised that most rational people consider this a low priority.

Put it a different way.  How many people drive over the speed limit every day in this country?    1,000,000?  2mil?  10 million?  100 people die in traffic accidents every day.  Heck, a big percentage of those deaths are not even because they themselves were speeding but were struck by the guy / girl who was speeding.

So, what do we do?  We could absolutely put a cop on every road, spaced every 500 feet to ensure that nobody ever speeds.  Are you in favor of that?

But we don't do that, because the cost would be prohibitive relative to the results (and frankly, this example is worse because you are talking about who gets a government job compared to 36,000 preventable deaths per year).

@squeakyclean if people get away with it you don’t have evidence. What you do is require an id etc to make it as secure as you can to preserve the integrity of elections and to reduce to the extent possible conspiracies.  When you say no we aren’t doing that it makes people question what’s going on

this yet another one Dems are getting wrong. They haven’t gotten much right the last decade.  I’m at a loss as to why anyone wants them to win anything at this point

It’s impossible for you to be more lame or dumb. Did you graduate high school? What advanced math classes have you passed? Dumbass.

The simple answer to your ridiculously stupid question is they would make a difference if they changed the result. I mean seriously, do you have to concentrate to breathe?
