This thread has convinced me to take down all of my Omar yard signs, my Omar flags, sell my Omar crypto, sell my Omar shoes, fight against Omar coinage, and stay away from Omar hotels. That will teach her.

You can find tons of posts on here where I refer to the progressive wing of the Democratic party, including Omar, as being "whacked-out shit-libs" that I don't agree with, whatsoever.
Do I need to put that in my signature for it to sink in?
I think most House Dems are tired of her too. Hence the many censures or censure discussions.
These threads in essence saying that an unspecified "they" should stop supporting her with reverence don't seem to realize that "they" don't even exist, except maybe in some tiny district in MN.

NO, as I have said many, many times. Women's sports and women's bathrooms are for women. Period. Is the issue given too much importance by MAGA, being more important / talked about than health care costs, social security, or basically anything other than immigration? Probably

The health care cost cliff, which affects red states much more than blue states when you look at ACA enrollment, is not a can to keep kicking down the road. Vote on ACA first if you don't want them together. Both a clean CR and ACA extensions would pass by huge majorities.

As to what other imaginary Democratic values I supposedly hold,
-I am totally for requiring balanced budgets
-I am against banning all guns
-I am all for free trade / no tariffs
-I am against all illegal immigration
-I am against blanket "sanctuary cities"
-I am for as small as necessary government and no longer being the policeman of the world, for free
But
-I do think CEO billionaires get too many breaks
-I see no reasons to treat LGBTQ people as threats to my existence as a married straight guy
-I do wish we could categorize AR15-type weapons as being war weapons, with no legit civilian hunting or self-defense use, much as already-banned hand grenades and rocket launchers

There is no assurance that it will ever come up after a CR passes. Remember "repeal and "replace" and the promised new Trump plan to fix health care? 9 years later, still crickets. But give it two more weeks / months / years / decades.

What's the plan to replace it? People need help, so just repealing it without something to help people isn't feasible.
I'm up for a change, but there needs to be a plan to do so. What's the plan?
