If Walz and Omar aren’t impeached over this, what is impeachment even for? At best they looked the other way to what might end up being 8 billion in fraud, in Omar’s case maybe even acted as a facilitator.
I can’t wait for ICE to start cracking skulls in Minneapolis. Live look at operations below.

Dumb
This is just pathetic at this point.
well id imagine an audit is coming, no?This is just pathetic at this point.

From WSJ:
The new filings are in response to a March letter Omar received from the Office of Congressional Conduct, an independent, nonpartisan entity charged with receiving and reviewing allegations of misconduct concerning House members and staff.
A Washington lawyer representing Omar responded in a letter to the OCC that the inaccurate filing was unintentional. He said the OCC had requested additional documentation from Omar.
“As the busiest of people, it is very common for members and their spouses to rely on learned professionals like accountants to make calculations and determinations that appear on public filings,” the letter said. “While the error is of course unfortunate, there is nothing untoward and nothing illegal has occurred.”
....
Aides said that Omar looked at the form before it was filed in 2025, but that the error didn’t jump off the page for her because she isn’t involved with her husband’s businesses and she trusted the accuracy of the accountant who provided her husband’s figures.
If you are so ignorant that you aren't accurate on millions of dollars, should you be a Congressman?
"If you are so ignorant that you aren't accurate on millions of dollars, should you be a Congressman? "
I would say so, yes. Unfortunately being stupid is not a disqualifier for Congress. See our Congress as an example.
Still being stupid and breaking the law do not always go hand in hand. If something nefarious is happening I'd think it would be pretty obvious to the IRS.
*Edit* oops I meant to say No. If you are that ignorant I don't think you should be in Congress. But as others have pointed out, that is the voters in her districts call. No one else.

No, but this isn’t even the top reason she shouldn’t be, maybe even top 5.
I wouldn't vote for her if she were my congressional representative. But... if her district's voters want her, and if she meets legal requirements, and is she hasn't been implicated in any serious criminal activity, I see no basis for her removal from office. Disagreeing with her political stances (as I do) is no reason for forced removal from office.

It is amusing that people that support trump and some of the other low IQ republicans are going to post here and pretend they have actual standards for congress or white house.
If Omar was MAGA, all she would have to say is "oops, my bad" without an explanation and they would take it without question. And a statement probably isn't even needed...anyone loyal to trump is presumed innocent with no need to prove anything.
If Omar actually did something illegal, then of course she should face the consequences. And I'm guessing trump's IRS would check on that so they can try to get a win in their revenge tour. Might try even if it was nothing more than an honest oopsy.

That sounds just like a lack of guardrails being the reason for the financial fraud.
Hope is not optimism, which expects things to turn out well, but something rooted in the conviction that there is good worth working for. - Seamus Heaney, Irish poet and likely Hoosier basketball fan.

Correct. Has Rick Scott been mentioned by any of them in any of the fraud threads?I wouldn't vote for her if she were my congressional representative. Is that what is being argued?

I knew what you meant. I can't imagine what the tax returns say.
FWIW, the voters in her district are also responsible for the downfall of Minneapolis, George Floyd, etc.
I can't stand her and would never vote for her. That said, what am I missing here? The winery that wasn't really a winery was a financial bust. How have they (she and Mynett) made any serious money? Seems like their actual worth is much closer to six figures than to eight.
If she is, in fact, a crook, that shit is small potatoes compared to what Trump and his family and cronies have raked in. Trump's profit from the presidency is unprecedented. Son-in-law Jared has made billions. Don Jr's net worth jumped six-fold in the first year of his dad's second term. Eric's wealth, too, has spiked thanks to his connections courtesy of daddy. Also, it's likely that Trump's cronies are getting much richer as a result of inside information leading to perfectly-timed trades on the traditional markets and in the prediction markets (see below).
This administration is crooked and corrupt, like nobody's ever seen before. Again, this is all UNPRECEDENTED. People need to stop with the stupid yabbuts/false equivalences.
