At what point will you Dems wake up? It’s obvious they want open borders and little election regulations because they want the poorest, immigrants, people with nothing and who are desperate to flood the country and vote for them. Their attacks on billionaires I only partially get. Massive gaps in wealth isn’t healthy. But think of a guy like Bezos. He has a million and a half people employed. He created those jobs. What’s more the real number is probably what? Ten million? People he has allowed to use his platform to start a business and sell products. Mamdani and AOC have not created a single job.
Trump is bad news. But not in the same universe as scary as the Dem party today. Any of you Dems that believe in this country need to get activated. Forget Trump. Fix your ridiculous party or we’re going to end up with a country no one wants other than dumb and dumber leading the party

All joking aside. Play out the scenario. You're worth 5 billion dollars and scared the government is going to confiscate more and more of your wealth over time.
Option 1: Gold -
Benefits- It's tangible, has a long track record, and the government can't print more of it.
Downside - It's difficult to move. You have to centralize with a third party at some point and good luck moving it out of a jurisdiction if sh#t hits the fan.
Option 2 - Land
Benefits - It's somewhat scarce (at least some land). It usually goes up value if you own the good land, which most extremely wealth people do.
Downside - It's not liquid. You can't transport it. And if a person like Mandami gets elected where you own the land they can freeze the rent and quickly devalue it.
Option 3 - Bitcoin
Benefits - It's scarce. It can be transported anywhere in the world and settled within minutes. It's extremely difficult to confiscate and extremely easy to take anywhere in the world.
Downside - It's new and difficult to understand.
Sorry, but the wealthy people are going to choose Bitcoin as they get squeezed more and more. If you think people like Elon are going to hoard gold, I don't know what to tell you.
Also, not every country goes insane at the same time. Elon will just pack up and go elsewhere and take his Bitcoin with him. All roads lead to Bitcoin. It's a better idea and tool.
