Pretty patent that the Dem party is controlled by a 36 year old bartender and a 34 year old African studies rapper.  Not an ounce of professional experience between the two of them. Know nothing about business, creating jobs, etc.  Hardcore socialists. Not social insurance. Socialists.  When people say who they are believe them.  Means of production etc.

At what point will you Dems wake up?  It’s obvious they want open borders and little election regulations because they want the poorest, immigrants, people with nothing and who are desperate to flood the country and vote for them.  Your average normal white male dreams of creating something, building something.  They don’t want that.

Their attacks on billionaires I only partially get. Massive gaps in wealth isn’t healthy.  But think of a guy like Bezos.  He has a million and a half people employed. He created those jobs.  What’s more the real number is probably what?  Ten million?   People he has allowed to use his platform to start a business and sell products.  Mamdani and AOC have not created a single job.

Trump is bad news. But not in the same universe as scary as the Dem party today. Any of you Dems that believe in this country need to get activated.  Forget Trump. Fix your ridiculous party or we’re going to end up with a country no one wants other than dumb and dumber leading the party

C Probert My research indicates the socialist craze within the Democratic party is primarily among the younger voters.

Wonder how much these kids really know about socialism. Got a feeling they are grasping for straws because they are fearful about their future.

@hoot this last one that won was in a district with only 17% white.  mostly hispanic and black.  i think this is the new play for the dem party and why again they are so desperate for open borders lax voting regs etc.

This may be a blessing for the moderate right. If the national DNC is too stupid to realize it's time for a young moderate to prop up on their side then so be it. Hopefully the right realizes this and doesn't try and jam a MAGA douchebag down peoples throats.

You can’t argue that “the country is going to shit,” AND “the Dems are the problem.”

The attempt at distraction is a little too obvious.

@mrhighlife it's just shocking how stupid dems are.  MAGA is real and imo probably the most significant voting block and it is up for grabs.  Dems could take maga right back with the right candidate and pitch.  maga did not sign up for wars.  it's not wealthy and the cost of living hurts.  and much of it at one time were already dems

@bulk-vh no the argumetn is the country is going to shit and dems are electing people who will make it worse when the opportunity is there to fix it.  socialism.  forget it.  old school dem values and the party could claw back a shit ton of maga

First, I’m pro-capitalism and have a comfortable existence.

The juiced socialist movement shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone. Young people can’t find jobs, and AI is an increasing threat to employment. The middle class is shrinking while the wealthy are making money like never before. Millions of average Joes believe no one is looking out for their financial interests. Trump hasn’t helped that perception with a number of recent comments that suggest he doesn’t care about people of modest means except as seat-fillers at his rallies, and on Election Day.

I’m not arguing that socialism is the answer, but it’s not hard  to understand that this climate creates an opening for politicians like AOC and Mamdani.

It doesn’t help that the president is the leader  of a powerful billionaires’ club. A pay-to-play arrangement is in place, the White House is for sale, corruption is rampant, Trump is in complete control of the Justice Department, and he and his extremely rich pals can act with impunity. This provides more fuel for the socialist movement.

Finally, job production is a great and obviously important consideration, but I don’t know that Bezos is the most compelling example. Amazon has killed thousands of small businesses, and it exploits numerous others that have managed to survive. The FTC and 17 state attorneys general have a pending antitrust case against Amazon alleging monopolistic practices.

@big-ryan that's an interesting take on amazon.  i found a stat that 65,000 small retailers were shuttered between 07 and 17.  a percentage would have anyway of course but whatever formula they are using they attribute to amazon in some way.  9 million people registered to sell on amazon.  i suspect it's more gain than loss as i suspect walmart is who have also obviously had a deleterious impact on small businesses.  but that's conjecture on my part.  i don't know if walmart allows retailers to sell on their platform

How about this:

You guys claim that Dem shit is what got Trump elected a second time.  Is it not fair to say that MAGA shit is driving this ultra-progressive movement?
