Incredible.
Those made-up stats are certainly incredible, literally.

Crime in DC is incredibly uneven with different Wards having OVERALL crimes rates that are comparable to wildly different cities. Wards 7 and 8 have homicide rates most similar to New Orleans, LA while Wards 1 and 2 are more comparable to Salt Lake City, UT

So, when Trump decides to use this same strategy in Chicago, or other cities, as he has floated out there, and orders hotels, etc., to quarter the troops...to save money, you know, I can't wait to see the MAGAs defend it.

Since DC is NOT even among the 50 most dangerous cities in the USA, you can bet that as long as DJT backs it, they will defend it for those 50 that are worse off.

There is nothing conservative Republican about this.@carramrod This is one direction I was hoping this would lead. There's the symbolic side of tanks and infantry marching in the cities. And then there are potentially things that might actually help and work, longer term. Military intelligence capabilities, mainly.
Its a very, very touchy subject. Using our military capabilities to track our own citizens, as vile as some of them may be, is a bridge too far for many. Ironically, that bridge has been historically guarded by Republicans.
I think the quick "flip" on issues like this, is why I'm looking forward to 2028. People "shouldn't" be so quick to give up lifetime's worth of convictions, over one man. Especially one as flawed as Trump.

I don't think this is true. While for decades, Republicans have consistently railed against government overreach in general, I don't recall them really being on the forefront of pushing against the surveillance state, military policing, etc. Was it the Republicans denouncing the use of the National Guard in countering Vietnam protests?
Obviously most ardent 2nd amendment people, probably don’t see the men and women committing violent crimes in DC, as “us”.
This is where, for me, an “most ardent 2A person” also bares the principle of “let the Market decide”.
Ardent 2A people are not shooting up DC or any GD thang else. Their weapons are secured, maintained and well regulated. If the people of an area want to continue to elect over lords that maintain them into muderous squalor, ya can’t fix stupid. And apparently you can’t teach them that they are their own worse enemy and they keep voting for more of the same, or in most cases, even worse.
eventually, one cancer cell (DC) metastasizes and that gene pool gets what it voted for.
we can’t fix stupid, and sadly we lose a few good ones. Human race is about the herd, it’s not the individual. (That should fire up some democrats that want to continue to support their own policies of killing their own).
Trump, stay out of DC. Please allow it to die slowly just like the self imploding AI mechanism that it has created its self of.
My $.02
Morally Flexible. Kinda.

So just to clarify, does the fact that it’s at a 30 year low, or not one of the 50 worst cities mean it’s acceptable? I’ll put it in simpler terms for you, if you’re at your lowest weight in the past 30 years, does that mean you’re not a fat ass? If there are 50 people in your neighborhood that weigh more than you, does that mean you’re not a fat ass? I hope this helps you understand….
And do honestly trust a Trump led initiative like this to NOT start pulling over Subaru’s with rainbow flags, and F-Trump bumper stickers?
Is that happening any where now?
Elkhart and South Bend on the list! Crime is putting us on the map, baby!Incredible.

3 dead, several injured in shooting at Target in Austin, Texas.
Will Trump send in the troops?
.
@dbmhoosier @shooter crime stats are now being cooked by the left etc. and honestly anythign from gov agencies msm these days come on. you want true news go to social media. that's where you can find actual news. and the story
Go to youtube. having trouble linking
Inside old northside jvl
Nashanclay
totally totally likable real dudes talking about their condition
inside the 4200 block where east coast crips run st. louis
Nashanclay
Then go to any of the Nashanclay videos re most dangerous city st. louis. or street address videos by her. st. louis gangs. there are countless videos. there are entire communities where kids walk the streets with ARs out. they randomly just begin shooting at each other. take them in stores. it's like nothing you see almost anywhere in the world. and it is here in the united states. go down the youtube and social media rabbit hole not propaganda and msm and you'll see the truth.
and these kids and young adults in the nashanclay videos are very often not what you think. they'll pick up trash as they're walking. talk about how their dad did the gang thing. their uncles. it's all they knew. and now they're stuck. that they don't want this life. how only the athletes in the hood had a chance. they're raw but very good story tellers. it's sad. and these cities and politicians are failing them. generation after generation.
trump is frustrating but god damn he gets shit. unlike any other politician he gets it and talks about it and says it's fing ridiculous. how can this be. a cooked set of stats. a true set of stats. these communities are always fckd. the question is how frequently do they decide to go to the mls parking areas to make some money. those are the stats. nothing is getting better

Goddammit, I was doing that stupid "name as many cities as you can" quiz this morning, and I forgot Elkhart.
