He’s a 2020 election denier. That means he’s a moron or thinks Republicans are morons. Either is disqualifying. He will not be getting my vote. Very likely I’ll be voting for a Democrat for Governor for the first time in my life.

Another option is you could just leave that one blank.  You have the right to do that.

I could, or vote third party like I did for President in 2016, or write-in like for President in 2024, but I'm not going to this time. I want to 86 the MAGA election denial stupidity and I think it's going to take a crushing loss in 2026 and 2028.

Understood.

If you provided some examples, I would. You're just making unsupported statements. Sort of like Election Deniers do.

A crushing loss. Like Bush did?  Or like Obama did? Or worse?

MAGA candidates are not winning so much any longer. Biggs getting nominated in Arizona for Governor makes Hobbs' reelection more likely. The Texas Senate race would have been a lock for Cornyn, but the MAGAs nominated MAGA Paxton, and the polls now are much closer than they would have been. The special elections mostly haven't been good for MAGA candidates. There is some real Trump/MAGA fatigue developing and I'm hoping it means the end of MAGA. Sure, some of what they do is Republican and will remain but other stuff, tariffs, constant grievance, denial of reality (elections, vaccines, etc.) and especially the culture, must go.

@aloha-hoosier I wouldn't really call Andy Biggs MAGA... He's pretty far right, probably closer to Thomas Massie and Chip Roy. He opposed all COVID spending when Trump was in office, for example. He opposes basically every spending bill. He's not really a Trump lap dog, and has been quite a pain in the ass for House Republican leadership. I believe he was in the small gang that took McCarthy down.

I don't think he'll perform too well in a statewide election in a purple state in a difficult cycle for Republicans. He's also kind of a boring, cold fish, and I kind of doubt Trump will lend too much help. Arizona is a state full of people from somewhere else (like you) for the most part, so kind of difficult to predict general elections. But the right wing politics in Arizona can be pretty loony tunes when it comes to primaries.

At least we can dispense with the “principled Republican” line you so often use.

Your post and my post do not support that conclusion even a little bit. That's really dumb. Do you honestly think it's "principled" to vote for a guy who's either a moron or thinks Republicans are morons? There is no other option on his election denialism.

@aloha-hoosier it's been more than two decades since bush won office.  your candidates you'd like would be lucky to get 50 million votes for president.  party is dead. it's maga

Biggs voting record should be very palatable to anyone that classifies himself as a conservative. Hobbs not so much. Maybe you’re confused as to what you are. It’s fine.

Not at all confused - he's running for Governor, by the way.

Did I say he was running for something else? He has a voting record. What percentage of his votes do you disagree agree with? You said you’re not a single issue voter.

I've clearly explained why he won't get my vote. If you can't understand it, that's you're problem.
