@co-hoosier absolutely they are.  aoc and the dem party doesn't want job creation. it wants expansive government welfare and gov control of property/business etc.  this country has never faced a more clear and present danger than the current dem party.  nothing else remotely comes close. they want to change america to its core. our beliefs.  what make us great.

Every part of this post is your subjective view of issues, MAGA voters and me.  No point in responding any more than I have for the last couple of years.  I don’t think you are nearly the objective observer of conservatives or of Republicans you think you are.

You think you are? I'd have to disagree.

I'm pretty certain my principles as a Republican haven't changed due to electing Trump and the rise of MAGA. I think I can defend that issue by issue objectively at any time.

Mostly agree. One of the great mysteries of the current time is why traditional dems don’t shoot this crap down.   Polis has done it and he is as liberal as ny of them.  DeGette got hammered in the primary and all we hear from her camp about the DSA agenda is crickets.

@co-hoosier you have some very weak-minded dems as evidenced in this thread who are just trump obsessed and frankly not smart enough to see the forest for the trees and then with your garden variety political dem they don't have the juice to fight the socialists.  what the socialists have are personalities! fire!  passion!  and it's great for social media and media.  aoc is energy.  and so is mamdani.  they dont look like bernie. some boring old white man.   they have energy and relate to youth and are full of oxygen.  combine that with people who aren't educated and experienced and when they hear socialism they think yeah we already have that. it's social security.  and some social programs that are nice. and maybe i'll get healthcare. and they don't know any better.  dems prey on teh stupid and desperate at this station.  they don't realize what their take home pay would look like

Election denial means zip.  Jena Griswold, the Democrat Colorado Secretary of State, kicked Trump off of the presidential election ballot. The U.S. Supreme Court unanimously reversed.   Look what California did to elections.  Stupid arrogant Dems are the real problem. As far as I am concerned,  idiot Democrats do more to damage elections than  Trump could do in years.

They are educated though. At least in the formal sense. It's the post-grads voting for AOC and Mamdani.

the dem party is now academics, immigrants, and minorities.  they fit in with the academics.  and hollywood/tv.  i just saw a clip of olivia wilde the actress saying how much she admires mamdani.  the socialists are taking over the party. it's pretty obvious.  i mean good lord it's from the midwest here to nyc

Then why don’t you?  All we get from you is some version of “MAGA Moron” or ‘Twitter Twit” and you act like you said something important.  I can’t remember the last time you seriously defended a GOP  position when Trump advances the position. The most you will say is “I’m in favor of secure borders “ or similar without more.

I've supported GOP positions and principles for years. What exactly do you think I've not supported that I should have? Tariffs? Not Republican. Lawfare? Not Republican. Trying to govern by Executive orders? Not Republican. Poor character and dishonesty of our President and his and his family's rampant corruption? Not Republican. Lawfare? Not Republican (since Nixon, at least). What? Give me something that I haven't supported which you think I should. Hell, you've been a Democrat until Trump, so you probably support his long-time Democrat positions.

@bar-down that's fine, too. We don't get to tell each other what is and isn't important when it comes to voting. Everyone has different priorities.

This just popped up on twitter today.  It's from Nate Silver.

https://twitter.com/natesilver538/status/2079571167673811211?s=46

It's another example on why free markets and not having the government backstop industries is so important.  We are essentially subsiding people several 100k to not work during there 20s so they can be "educated" to work a job that pays 30-60k🤬
