This entire debate is over the top, and has been for a couple of years, now. I'm just worn out with it. Is Trump an historical embarrassment? Yes. Was Biden a terrible president? Yes. Are Democrats stupidly lining up behind unpopular causes? Yes.
But Trump isn't the worst thing that ever happened in history. Biden wasn't the the worst president ever. And Democrats are not trying to destroy America. All this hyperbole is just plain stupid. Take a pill, all.

He's filthy dirty at levels that are unprecedented in US history. He has turned the American presidency into his personal piggy bank. And, on top of that, he's incompetent as hell. But you've got people out there and on here who tie themselves in knots trying to defend him, explain it away, argue that there will be no long-term fallout, suggest it's a nothingburger or advance absurd false equivalences.
