It is a big issue. When it comes to sports competitions, we have always had zero tolerance for being outside the lines. That includes eligibility for women’s sports.
ten percent of workers are in healthcare. the biggest companies in the world are healthcare benefits management, insurers, etc.
This is the real problem, and it has nothing to do with Obamacare vs. alternatives. The problem already existed, and it will continue to exist. We need to fundamentally overhaul how we view the healthcare industry.

You're right about the current situation as far as the President goes (not the country), but you said the same thing about GWB (bolded) and that was nonsense. I spent considerable time working with and getting to know foreign Navy personnel in their countries and it was absolutely not true that they considered the US or President GWB a laughingstock. You should have held fire then to be more credible now.
The trans thing is really simple. No trans girl/women (biological boys/men) should be allowed to play sports against biological girls/men. There is a scientifically proven advantage for biological boys/men which makes it unfair to the girls/women. Don't really care about trans boys/men competing against biological boys/men - the trans boys/men are at a disadvantage.
@oneeyedundertaker Mostly. After Obamacare was implemented, the annual growth of the healthcare sector actually slowed down a bit, but I don't have any reason to credit Obamacare for that. Point is, the trend predated Obama by quite a long time, and continued after him. It was already part of the system.
