The IU football squad gained 14 players on early signing day. We have gotten to know these players and have watched them closely this year and have made profiles on each of the 14 guys who made their commitment official in December. Get to know them here.

Why They Played: The Hoosiers and Rebels played for the first time ever as they were matched up against in the Outback Bowl.

What The Game Meant: This was a chance for the Hoosiers to end a five-game bowl losing streak and grab a win over an SEC team. IU also raised the stakes by being petty and covering over the B1G logo and with how they handled being left out of the Fiesta Bowl.

Indiana RB Stevie Scott Excited for a “Dream Come True” Opportunity

The list of career achievements for Stevie Scott in his time with Indiana is lengthy.

The career 2,000-yard rusher has made the second team All-Big Ten team the last two seasons, been a member of the Maxwell Award and Doak Walker Award watch lists over the same time frame, and is second in the Big Ten in rushing touchdowns, total TDs, and rushing yards among active players. Despite a difficult go on the ground for all the Hoosier running backs this year, Scott has eight touchdowns over the seven games and has scored in 16 of his last 23 starts.
