We’re back with another iteration of the Official Hoosier Huddle Staff’s 2024 Big Ten Power Rankings. This time, we’re at version 2.0 and we take into account any major movements, transfers, or injuries that occurred during the spring period. This version will have shorter team summaries compared to v1.0. After week two there is a new team atop the Hoosier Huddle power rankings. It was another impressive win for the Hawkeyes who jump over Ohio State after the Buckeyes lose to Oregon as a two-touchdown favorite. There were shakeups down at the bottom of the rankings as well.

Hoosier Huddle’s Big Ten Power Rankings: Week 6

It was a light week in the Big Ten as two of the conference’s seven games were cancelled. That didn’t lighten the implications of the games that were played. The cancelations also cost Wisconsin a shot at the Big Ten West’s spot in the conference title game and could cost Ohio State the same thing should another one of their games be cancelled.

After shutting out Michigan State on their own field, the Hoosiers’ celebrations are over and they are back to work to prepare for their biggest challenge yet that awaits them in Columbus—the No. 3 Ohio State Buckeyes. High school football playoffs are in full swing for many of the class of 2021 Hoosiers, and for others senior night is around the corner, or they don’t start until spring.
