The brackets are out and most everyone is rightfully focused on March Madness. However, there’s plenty of time in your day to read a bit about Spring football as teams across the conference begin preparations for the 2015 season. We’ll open with a look at the defending National Champions and the rest of the East division (a similar article focusing on the West will be up early next week).

The oft overlooked and unheralded heroes that labor in the trenches, the offensive line is tasked with opening up running lanes and keeping the quarterback upright. They perform their duties in near obscurity, typically only drawing attention to themselves when a play falls apart or if they commit a penalty. During Kevin Wilson’s time in Bloomington the Hoosiers offensive line has been one of the more consistent groups of the team, despite injuries challenging its depth.

While most of Hoosier Nation is either on Spring Break or anxiously waiting for the selection committee to announce their field of 68 teams, Hoosier Huddle is pushing forward with our spring football previews. Coach Wilson and his staff have had success recruiting around the nation's capital, adding Virginia's Mike Majette, Maryland's Tyler Green and Devonte Williams, during the last recruiting cycle. The Hoosiers are hopeful they can keep this recent run on D.C. area recruits going after offering Bishop O'Connell Offensive Lineman Jay Jay McCargo. The Knights play in the very competitive Washington Catholic Athletic Conference (WCAC) along with DeMatha Catholic, where Green played his prep ball.

The Hoosiers hosted a talented group of athletes Saturday during its Junior Day, among those in attendance were Wendell Phillip’s High School teammates Amir Watts and Amani Jones. The two made the trip down from the Windy City Saturday to catch the Hoosiers basketball game against Michigan State. The duo did not leave Bloomington empty-handed, as Watts announced via his twitter account that he and Jones were recipients of scholarship offers from the Hoosiers.

On Monday morning Florida's KJ Sails announced via his twitter account that he had picked up an offer from the Indiana Hoosiers. The talented defensive back from the Sunshine State has added multiple offers over the last couple of months, but the offer from the Hoosiers is his first from a Power Five Conference.

Ohio's Zach Sandwisch was one of the many talented prospects to make the trip to Bloomington on Saturday to partake in the team's Junior Day activities, which included attending the hardwood matchup between the Hoosiers and the Spartans. The hard-hitting, Central Catholic (Toledo) linebacker did not leave the capital of Hoosier Nation empty-handed, as he announced via his twitter account that he had received an offer from Coach Wilson and the Hoosiers.
