Former Indiana defensive tackle Jerome Johnson has signed with the Miami Dolphins according to Kevin Brockway of CHNI Indiana.

Happy Monday, Hoosier fans! It was a huge weekend for the Hoosiers as they flipped commitment from top 50 athlete Dasan McCullough from Ohio State to IU and gained his brother Deland McCullough II from the transfer portal. They join their brother Daeh to complete the brother trio, alongside their father Deland, who coaches IU running backs in Bloomington. Spring football is over, and now we wait for the 2021 NFL Draft that begins this Thursday, April 29th. Happy Friday, Hoosier fans! Your AFCA Coach of the Year Tom Allen and the Indiana Hoosiers’ off-season work is in full swing. This weekend, Allen announced IU football’s One Word for 2021 is ”Chase”— an earnest or frenzied seeking after something desired. As the Hoosiers chase after their offseason goals, we are here to keep you updated.

The Hoosiers filled one of the two holes in the coaching staff, left by running backs coach Mike Hart who left Indiana for his alma mater and defensive coordinator Kane Wommack who stepped up to the South Alabama head coach position. The former University of Georgia defensive backs coach Charlton Warren’s was hired as IU’s new defensive coordinator and was introduced this week, so we have included stories about him below. We will keep you posted on the running backs coaching search.

The IU football squad gained 14 players on early signing day. We have gotten to know these players and have watched them closely this year and have made profiles on each of the 14 guys who made their commitment official in December. Get to know them here.

Stevie Scott Enters NFL Draft

In what could be the final stay or go decision of the 2021 offseason for the Indiana Hoosiers, Stevie Scott announced today that he would forego his senior season of eligibility and enter the NFL Draft. Scott has received the bulk of carries for the Hoosiers over the last three seasons and has always had a knack for finding the end zone. The 2020 season saw perhaps his greatest improvement in the eyes of NFL scouts in his much-improved pass protection.

Indiana Center Harry Crider Declares for the NFL Draft

The Indiana Hoosiers will be looking for a new center in 2021 as Harry Crider, who started the entire 2020 season at the position has declared for the 2021 NFL Draft. Crider was a senior and had the option to return if he wanted to. He announced his decision on Twitter on Sunday.
