Happy Friday, Hoosier fans!

In case you missed it, last weekend was a wonderful one for IU football, as former defensive back Jamar Johnson’s name was called as the 20th pick in the fifth round (164th overall), to extend the draft streak to eight years. Although Johnson was the lone Hoosier to get drafted, four others have signed UDFA deals with NFL teams so far—Whop Philyor with the Minnesota Vikings, Harry Crider with the Philadelphia Eagles, Stevie Scott with the New Orleans Saints, and Jerome Johnson with the Miami Dolphins. We’ll keep you posted as more deals reel in for former IU football players.

There are now 120 days remaining until the Hoosiers kick off the 2021 season at Iowa. Hoosier Huddle has new football content every day until then, so check back for the latest on the IU football squad. Follow us on Facebook, Twitter @HoosierHuddle and Instagram @Hoosier_Huddle
