On Saturday night Matt Weaver of Peegs.com broke the news that three-star defensive end Alfred "Lance" Bryant has committed to play for the Hoosiers. Bryant, a 6'1.5" and 236-pound defensive end from Manvel, Texas is rated as the 55th best weak-side defensive end in the nation. He is quick off the ball and could give the Hoosiers the edge rusher that they need. He is the seventh commit in the Hoosiers' 2017 class.
