Tevin Coleman and Co. are Good- The Hoosiers spent most of their offensive plays running the ball and why not? Roberts and Coleman have combined to light up the Sycamores for three scores and 216 yards in the first half. Yes, they should be doing this against an FCS foe like Indiana State, but this has been very impressive so far.

Defense has been adequate- The IU defense started the game off slow allowing the Sycamores to drive 51 yards. The only points the Hoosiers have given up have been the results of a short field because of a muffed J-Shun Harris punt return. They have recorded two sacks and three total tackles for loss. They have settled into the game very nicely after a poor first drive.

Turnovers- The Hoosier defense was put in a tough position because of a muffed punt. The Hoosiers must take care of the ball if this defense wants any chance at being improved.

Sudfeld Not Sharp- The play of quarterback Nate Sudfeld has been sub par in the first half. He has only thrown four passes and completed one of them for 13 yards. This has to be a concern, as the Hoosiers don’t want to become one-dimensional. Sudfeld has also been sacked twice.
