Indiana Adds Texas A&M Transfer DL Marcus Burris

The Indiana Hoosiers have had an extremely active and successful couple of weeks as they aggressively pursue roster additions and upgrades through the transfer portal. That continued on Sunday afternoon as former four-star recruit Marcus Burris announced his transfer from Texas A&M to Indiana University. Burris played in eight games in 2022 for the Aggies after redshirting the 2021 season. He chose A&M over offers from nearly every top school in the country and was a top 150 recruit nationwide.

The defensive lineman has three years of eligibility remaining and he is expected to be a defensive tackle in IU’s scheme. His addition comes on the heels of fellow defensive linemen Andre Carter, Philip Blidi and Lanell Carr and the Hoosiers can now feel much better about the depth and talent of that particular position group.

Hoosier Huddle will continue to cover the influx of talent coming to Bloomington.
