Daily College Football Links (January 18, 2021)

Welcome to the new week, Hoosier fans! Your 2020 AFCA Coach of the Year Tom Allen and the Indiana Hoosiers’ off-season work has started now. Now is the time for roster changes, so as players decide to opt into the 2021 NFL draft, enter the transfer portal or return for another year at IU, Hoosier Huddle is here to keep you updated.

The Hoosiers filled one of the two holes in the coaching staff this weekend, left by running backs coach Mike Hart who left Indiana for his alma mater and defensive coordinator Kane Wommack who stepped up to the South Alabama head coach position. The former University of Georgia defensive backs coach Charlton Warren’s was hired as IU’s defensive coordinator this weekend. We’ll keep you posted on the running backs coaching search.

The IU football squad gained 14 players on early signing day. We have gotten to know these players and have watched them closely this year and have made profiles on each of the 14 guys who made their commitment official in December. Get to know them here.
