Even though two more weeks remain before the Super Bowl LV finale, the National Football League (NFL) community is already eyeing the 2021 Draft. The Draft is a crucial stage where the coaching and management staff of every NFL team heads to different training camps of the possible players they can draft for the next season - a process that can either make or break the team.

The Indiana Hoosiers is a football team from Indiana University Bloomington, representing the NCAA Division I Football. The team was founded in 1960, and they represent the East Division in the Big Ten Conference. The Indiana Hoosiers have been known to produce big NFL talents since then.

As the 2021 NFL Draft approaches, there are six Indiana Hoosiers talents declared for the next drafting. If you plan to bet on sportsbooks like the FanDuel website for the Super Bowl LV finale, it's a good idea to get to know the top six Indiana Hoosier players in the '21 NFL Draft. Namely, Stevie Scott III, Jamar Johnson, Whop Philyor, Harry Crider, Jovan Swann, and Jerome Johnson.

Stevie Scott III

Stevie Scott III, a junior, running back for the Indiana Hoosiers. Born in Syracuse, he will head into the upcoming NFL Draft in the next few months. Scott joined his team in 2018 and portrays the same role until today.

In 2018, Scott started strong in the NCAA. He was able to accomplish 1,137 running yards with ten touchdowns. In 2019, he managed the same number of TDs for 845 running yards. In 202 he ran for 561 running yards and 10 touchdowns.

Jamar Johnson

After his third year with the Hoosiers, Jamar Johnson declare for the 2021 NFL Draft. He has worked as a Junior safety/defensive tackle for the Hoosiers since 2018. Johnson had an impressive playing year with Indiana and will surely be up for more as he enters the professional league.

Johnson's rookie year wasn't as strong as it could have been since he was still a bench player. Johnson was then allowed to come out during his sophomore year and averaged three sacks. In his junior year, he made one forced fumble, four interceptions, and four passes defended.

Whop Philyor

Now playing in his senior year, Whop Philyor is headed for the 2021 NFL Draft. Philyor started working right away as a wide receiver after joining in 2017. He had an excellent rookie year after accomplishing 33 receptions, 335 receiving yards, and three touchdowns.

As he played even harder in the past two years, Philyor boosted his record, making it to the 2019 Second Team All-Big Ten. This year, he is one of the top wide receivers that the NFL Draft has, presently recording 54 receptions, 495 receiving yards, and three touchdowns.

Harry Crider

To fulfill his dream of becoming a professional football player, Harry Crider, one of the Hoosier's senior class, won't let the 2021 NFL slip away. Last weekend, he joined Jamar Jackson in declaring his hopes to get into the drafting. He worked as an offensive lineman for five years in the same team.

One of his biggest contributions was shifting his position on the offense side to help the team end with a 6-2 record at Outback Bowl. Not only that, but Crider was an honorable mention at All-Big Ten, a finalist at the William V. Campbell Trophy, a candidate for AFCA Goodworks Team, and a nominee for Wuerffel Trophy.

Jovan Swann

After his first and only year with IU, this defensive lineman aims for the 2021 NFL Draft. He joins the roster of senior players from Indiana who want to make a difference in the National Football League. From 2017 until now, Swann has been making impressive scoring statistics that might help him get into the NFL.

Jerome Johnson

The last Hoosier player aiming to inch the NFL Draft is Jerome Johnson. He is a senior defensive lineman who currently records four sacks and one interception. Johnson was a recipient of the First Team All-Big Team and with high hopes to get seeded into the best NFL teams today.

Takeaway

As stated, the NFL Draft is a critical part of the Super Bowl because it is where the teams can find, contract, and trade players. This is also the part where the groups have to assess which player they let go. Not only that but trading the strongest players in the league is highly anticipated by the whole football community during this event.

As the best Indiana Hoosiers' players express their bid for the 2021 NFL Draft, will all of them get seeded into their dream team? Or will they lose the chance of a lifetime to enter the professional world of football? Let's wait and see.
