Three-star linebacker Isaiah Jones committed to Indiana football Sunday afternoon. Jones is ranked the No. 35 recruit in Ohio, the No. 99 linebacker in the nation, and No. 1000 overall in the Class of 2022 by 247 Sports.

The London, Ohio native chose IU over Minnesota, where he visited last week, Cincinatti and five other schools which he held offers.

“What stuck out to me was the love from the coaches to the players,” Jones told Hoosier Huddle, “Everyone was bought in and expects to win which is something I wanted to be apart of.”

“First and foremost I would like to thank God for all the opportunities He has put in my life,” Jones posted on Twitter. “For guiding me towards a dream I’ve always had of playing college football…. I want to thank all my teammates and friends for pushing me to become the best version of myself. I want to thank the London Athletic Department and staff for helping me pursue my dreams on and off the field. With that being said I will be continuing my athletic and academic career at Indiana University! #LEO #CHASE.”
